Redmont Sub Region
The Redmond Wine Region in the Great Southern Wine Region includes the area north of
Albury, and South of Mt Barker, near the townships of Redmond, Albany,
Narrikup and Green Valley. One of the major community events in the
Redmond Region is the Saturday farmers markets that features over 80 vendors.
Organic food products include berries, cheese, eggs, fruits and meats.
You can also choose from a great selections of plants, flowers, honey,
fish, breads, jams, herbs, specialty sauces and nuts. Cooked food
treats include Italian food, crepes, tamales, shave ice, popcorn and pastries.
There is lots of entertainment with live bands every Saturday.
A wide range of arts and craft products are also available.
