Walpole Sub Region

The Walpole Wine Region, located south of Perth in the Great Southern Wine Region includes the coastal areas between Denmark and Walpole. It includes vineyards and wineries near the townships of Walpole, Nornalup, Bridge Bow, Peaceful Bay and Denmark. Walpole is surrounded by the Walpole-Nornalup Inlet System and the Walpole-Nornalup National Park. The area has a wealth of things to see and do in this magical area. Experience the wonderful scenery from Mt. Frankland, boating and fishing on the calm rivers, estuaries and inlets, the glory of the spring wildflowers, the mighty majesty of huge trees and the world renowned Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk, the beauty of the coastline and islands. This region literally has it all. There man wonderful activities to enjoy including boating, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, fishing, camping, bush walking, scenic drives, rock climbing and many types of adventure sports.
