The Kingston Wine District, located in the area west of Barmera, includes wineries near the riverside towns of Kingston-on-Murray, Loch Luna, Cobdogla, Moorook and Overland Corner in the Riverland Wine Region, South Australia. Kingston-on-Murray is a tiny township on the Murray River located about 215 km north-east of Adelaide. It lies in the heart of a rich agricultural district dominated by orchards and vineyards. The area is also famous for its wetland and birds. Local attractions include: The famous Banrock Station Wine and Wetland Centre - which offers a superb wetlands and wine tasting experience on the banks of the Murray. which is located about 7km north west of Kingston and includes a range of habitats and attractions -
