Moorooduc Wine District

Moorooduc Wine District includes vineyards and wineries near Moorooduc, Mornington and Somerville in the Mornington Peninsula Wine Region south of Melbourne. Moorooduc is a small town located about 55 km from Melbourne. It is part of the Mornington, Hastings District and the Shire of Mornington Peninsula,, and is a very popular tourist destination. The Devil Bend Reservoir is a very popular feature of the Moorooduc district. offering a variety of water-based recreational opportunities and is a great place for a picnic or a BBQ. The area also has a diverse and interesting fauna. The TV World Media Museum on Eramosa Road is a popular attraction long with the Mornington Tourist Railway, and the Antiques Centre. The nearby towns of Mt Eliza, Mornington ad Somerville have a number of extra attrctions that are worth visiting. has a number of good. Somerville has excellent sporting facilities.
