Wollongong Wine District

The Wollongong Wine District is located in the Illawarra Wine Region south of Sydney. Wollongong is a vibrant, interesting and cosmopolitan city perfectly position between the coast and beaches and the green hills of the steep escarpment, located about 80 km south of Sydney. Wollongong has superb beaches and is very popular for boating and fishing. The city has a sophisticated and developing appreciation for fine food and wine, and the region provides wonderful seafoods and local food products. Wollongong and the surrounding villages have a diverse range of accommodation options that provide the gateway for exploring all the delightful and attractions and activities in the Illawarra region.
