Putty Road - Lower Hunter Valley Wine District
The Putty Road, Howes Valley Wine District is part of the Lower Hunter Valley Wine Region,
centred on the area along Putty Road south west of Singleton and Milbrodale
and includes Howes Valley. The district is surrounded by Putty State Forest and Yango
State Forests which offer wonderful bushwalking, camping, 4WD adventures and mountain
biking. The area has exclusive accommodation and is a great base for a holiday
exploring the many wineries and attractions in the area around Cessnock and Singleton
in the heart of the Hunter Valley Wine Region, inland from Newcastle.
