The Geraldton and Chapman Valley Region lies near the township of Geraldton, north of Perth. Some of the townships in the Region include Geraldton, Nabawa, Northampton, Yuna and Nanson. The most northern wineries in Western Australia are located in Chapman Valley a valley 380 km north-northwest of Perth. The picturesque Chapman Valley, just north of Geraldton, is famous for the flat-topped Moresby Ranges, its pristine coastline, its wildflowers in season, and its wines. Three small wineries and several aquaculture ventures have been established in the area that are very popular with visitors. Many visitors and campers are drawn to the wonderful Coronation Beach, with its world-renowned windsurfing location. You can head out along the Chapman Valley Road and taste the area`s outstanding wines. There are cellar door tastings at Red Hill, Ego Creek and Chapman Valley Wines.
