Sandy Hollow - Upper Hunter Wine District

The Sandy Hollow Wine District, in the Upper Hunter Wine Region, is centred around the charming village of Sandy Hollow, located on the Golden Highway about 250 km north of Sydney. The town is dominated by Overshadowed by the dramatic sandstone hills of the Giant`s Leap and is the gateway to the Wollemi National Park. The town's focus is on fine foods and boutique wines with many of the local wineries offering tastings at their local cellar doors. There is a fabulous range of attractions and activities in the district including # Enjoying the stunning wilderness areas along the Goulburn River and in the Wollemi National Parks and bushwalking, camping and mountain biking in these areas. # The Ute Muster and Charity Horse Ride held in April.
